Payments, Transfers & Cancellations

1. Payments & Deposits

All deposits and payments are non-refundable.

Transfers may be considered at the sole discretion of the course instructor and are not guaranteed.

A deposit secures your specific place in a course or lesson (including horse/rider positions). As such:

  • it cannot be transferred to a non-horse participant position, another course, or a different learning format as a matter of course
  • deposits paid for multiple courses cannot be transferred to cover the balance of another course or credited toward a different offering

By securing your place, that position is reserved for you and is no longer offered to other participants.

2. Transfer Fee

Where a transfer is approved at the discretion of the course instructor, a $200 transfer fee will apply.

3. Securing Your Place

A 50% deposit secures your place, provided the remaining balance is paid by the earlier of:

  • the date specified on the course information page for that course, or
  • 14 days prior to course commencement

4. Balance Payments & Early Bird Pricing

The remaining balance is due by the earlier of:

  • 14 days prior to course commencement, or
  • the date specified on the course information page

Discounted Early Bird (EB) pricing applies only where full payment is received prior to the advertised EB deadline.

5. Course Cancellation by the Instructor

If Mel Fleming cancels a course (other than due to circumstances beyond her control), you may choose to:

  • transfer to another course without a transfer fee, or
  • receive a full refund

If a course is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the instructor’s control, all payments will be credited and may be transferred to a future course without any transfer fee.

6. Credit Validity

All credits must be used within 18 months of the original course date.

7. Payment Plans

By entering into a payment plan, you agree to complete all scheduled payments.

If a payment plan is cancelled, no refunds will be given except in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of the course instructor.
